A bit provocative, this montage video makes the much needed comparison between historically racist depictions of blacks in entertainment and the modern-day minstrelsy of today's hip-hop. It's both amazing and sad how in sync the two can be. Props to DRG Films for putting this together. It's for the kids, it's for the kids...
Everything is Different Now.
The bold one continuous shot technique was the vision of Director Aaron Rosenbloom. Even with NYPD on the payroll, in the busy streets of Manhattan, this was no easy task. But, we pulled it off and were congratulated at the '06 Evil City Film Festival with the Best Music Video award. Big up to France, Robi, and Exile for this one.
